How does it work?

Easy! Just four steps:

Do all the picnic menus include drink?

All include a bottle of white wine, red wine, cava or signature beer except the Classic menu (option only available upon prior request and for groups) , which allows you to choose one for an extra amount. If you want to add more than one bottle, you can do so on the checkout page, before making the payment.

What specific drink will I receive?

Depending on the menu you choose, the season of the year, etc., our sommeliers will make a different proposal, which will always be a local brand that perfectly matches all the products included in the picnic and more than 90 Parker points. In the case of choosing beer, we serve the Inèdit beer, a limited edition by the team of sommeliers of the restaurant ‘El Bulli’ by the prestigious chef Ferran Adrià, whose characteristics that make it as ideal for pairing as any wine.

Do I have to go find the order somewhere?

No, unless you prefer it that way, and you choose the option of picking the picnic up in our Barcelona location. The added value of PicnicBCN’s picnic experience in Barcelona is that you only have to turn up at the agreed place and date to receive your gourmet product tasting. In addition, if you wish, you can add the “set-up” extra in your order to find the picnic prepared at the chosen place when you arrive, ideal to give a very special surprise.

I would like to receive my picnic basket in a place that is not among the featured ones. How can I do it?

If you want us to deliver your picnic in a place other than the Parc de la Ciutadella, the Park Güell, the Barceloneta beach or our delivery point, you can request a custom delivery on this form or through our chat, and we will contact you immediately to confirm our availability and inform you about the shipping price.

How do I find you when I am in the meeting point?

The delivery points are in fixed locations (you can find them here), so you’ll have no problem finding us! In any case, the confirmation email contains a phone number that you can call if you have any issues or questions.

Do I have to return the picnic utensils when we finish?

No. All the utensils that we include with our menus are totally recyclable, so when you finish you just have to throw them in the corresponding trash can.

I booked a picnic but the forecast is calling for rain that day. What should I do?

Barcelona enjoys good weather most of the year, with an average of only 55 days of precipitation yearly. On average it rains only 2 days in July and 6 days in October. At PicnicBCN, we’ll be keeping track of the forecast several days ahead of your picnic. If rain is forecast, we’ll offer you alternatives, whether it be a change of day or a change of location to a more sheltered but equally special place. If it is not possible to find an alternative, we’ll offer you a full refund.

How far ahead of time should I place an order?

We love to hear from you ahead of time.

All our handcrafted picnics are made to order. Some days we have a full schedule, which is why we recommend that you book ahead of time so that you can enjoy your picnic on the day and time of your choice.

Should any unexpected event occur, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to change the date or refund your order.

What happens if I have a change of plans and I need to cancel the experience?

No problem. At PicnicBCN, we know that things come up, and we strive to do our best to find a solution. Up to 48 hours before the time and day of delivery, you can cancel your picnic for a full refund, no questions asked.

If you can only give us 24-48 hours’ notice, you can cancel for a 50% refund, since we will have already begun preparing your order. If the unforeseen event occurs less than 24 hours in advance, unfortunately, we will not be able to cancel your experience, since we will have already purchased the fresh products from the market and prepared them just for you.

What if I have a food allergy or a special request?

Can I stop by and choose my order in person? Where are you located?

Of course! Our address is Major De Sarrià 131, Barcelona. We’d be delighted to serve you in person and help you customise your picnic.
